Keep camp a pastime

Why free reels at camp are still 18+

Social casino games borrow the look, sound and pace of real gambling. Watering Hole Camp is meant only for adults over the legal gambling age and is not aimed at anyone under 18. Your age is checked twice: first on the banner that greets you, and again with a tick you must make when you create your account.

Lines camp will never cross

• Run or promote real-money gambling at the watering hole.
• Award a prize of real-world value, ever.
• Sell camp coins or bolt on in-app purchases.
• Point a single trail at gambling operators or affiliates.
• Use countdown clocks or streaks to herd you back to camp.

An honest word from the lookout deck

A free game can be set up to feel generous, and it tops up your balance at no cost. Real-money games do neither. Doing well at camp tells you nothing about how you would fare with money on the line.

Tracks worth watching for

• Staying on the trails long past the hour you planned.
• Feeling snappy or irritable once you stop.
• Using the reels to escape a low mood.
• Spins crowding out sleep, work or the people around you.
• Finding yourself searching for a real-money version of the camp.

Holding the reins on your play

• Before the first spin, settle how long you will stay out on the trails.
• Leave autoplay off and press spin yourself.
• Take regular breaks, as Tumelo does with his tea.
• Clear this site’s data to start from nothing, or block the site in your device settings if you mean to stop for good.
